If you're a Shih Tzu owner that would do anything for your dog, it's highly likely that you have shared your food with your furry friend. In many cases, it may be safe to feed your dog small bits of food, such as cooked chicken or beef. However, there are some foods that are extremely poisonous to dogs, including fruits and vegetables that are healthy for humans. Here are a few fruits and veggies that you must avoid sharing with your dogs.
1. Cherries
Cherries can make it difficult for your dog to breathe and, in some cases, can also result in death. Just one cherry can cause diarrhea and other digestive problems. The cherry itself is not poisonous, but the cherry pit can be toxic to pets (and humans!).
