6 Tips to Keep Your Dog Healthy in Hot Weather

2) Always take your dog to a park or someplace where there is grass. Do not walk your dog on the roads, asphalt, or sidewalks. These surfaces are very hot during summers and can burn your dog’s paw pads.

3) Always keep your dog hydrated. It is important to always have fresh water available for your dog. Keep it readily available so your dog doesn't gulp it down. Small sips are much better, and you can work to train your pet to not ingest large amounts of water, which can lead to bloating, vomiting, or discomfort.
