Dogs are very active and social, and it's up to you to make sure they get the playtime, exercise, and socialization they need to thrive. It's important to carve out time every day to take your pet for a walk, or even just play for 15 to 20 minutes indoors or outside. You can purchase different types of toys that your pet can use for playtime alone or with you. This will help them burn up any extra enery that would normally lead to behavioral issues. Make sure to take the time to bring your pet beyond your living room or backyard by taking him or her to a doggy playdate, a dog park, or even to the local pet shop.
